A full Wilderness EMT Course will have 3 dedicated instructors that will be present for the entire course. In addition, several additional guest lecturers and instructors will be present for portions of the course that they have a particular expertise in as well as to help out with scenarios and hands-on instruction. All in all, as a student you will see about 6-8 different staff members from Remote Medical throughout your course.

Remote Medical International does not have a formal job placement service at this time, however, we do have a considerable amount of connections within the industries that would seek Wilderness EMT certified individuals. Our staff are always open to providing contact information, referrals, ideas, and any help that we can to assist our students in pursuing their professional goals in wilderness and remote medicine.

There is no set registration deadline, only a maximum number of students that we can take into a course. The point at which a WEMT course fills can vary quite a bit, but in general I would say it occurs about 2 months prior to the course start date. I recommend registering early, and you are always free to call or email us to check in on how many spots are left in a course.
